Есть несколько способов изготовления воска в домашних условиях.
Способ № 1: изготовление воска с использованием оливкового масла
Для изготовления воска вам понадобится:
– пчелиный воск (2 части);
– масло оливковое (7 частей);
– чистая стеклянная емкость.
Возьмите пчелиный воск и тщательно разомните его при помощи обычной ложки. Затем постепенно добавляйте в него оливковое масло, постоянно перемешивая состав, разогревая его при этом на водяной бане (на маленьком огне). Убедитесь в том, что вы надлежащим образом смешали компоненты (до получения жидкой однородной массы), после чего снимите воск с огня и продолжайте помешивать его до тех пор, пока он не остынет окончательно. Готовый состав хранится в чистой стеклянной емкости (желательно с полиэтиленовой крышкой) не более одного года.
Способ № 2: изготовление воска с использованием масла жожоба
Этот рецепт хорош тем, что является наиболее экологичным. Полученным составом можно обрабатывать не только двери, но даже детские деревянные игрушки. Для его приготовления потребуется:
– пчелиный воск (1 часть);
– масло жожоба отжатое(3 части).
Возьмите воск, измельчите его и растопите на водяной бане. После получения жидкости добавьте масло, и, по аналогии с предыдущим вариантом, помешивайте его до полного остывания состава. Готовый продукт поместите в стеклянную емкость. Хранить его имеет смысл не более двух лет, так как по истечении этого срока все полезные свойства будут утеряны.
Способ № 3: изготовление воска с использованием льняного масла
Приготовить воск на основе льняного масла для обработки деревянных поверхностей тоже довольно просто. Действуйте аналогичным способом: возьмите 2 части пчелиного воска (под “частью” понимается 1 столовая ложка) и 6-7 частей льняного масла. Тщательно смешайте разогретый воск с жидкостью, затем положите его в стеклянную тару. Срок хранения полученной субстанции – не более 1 года.

Технология нанесения воска на поверхность деревянной двери
В любом процессе необходим комплексный подход. Важно не только изготовить приготовить воск в правильной пропорции, но и умело нанести его на поверхность двери. Полотну перед вощением потребуется предварительная подготовка. Первым делом нужно снять с двери фурнитуру, вынуть стекла, затем тщательно очистить древесину от имеющихся загрязнений и удалить предыдущее покрытие. Если дверь была покрыта лаком, то воспользуйтесь растворителем. Действуйте до тех пор, пока вы не увидите доску в ее натуральном виде. Если на поверхности обнаружились сколы или трещины, то их следует зашпатлевать в тон полотна. Затем обязательно отшлифуйте поверхность, просушите ее, обработайте наждачной бумагой. Возьмите удобную кисть, окуните ее в емкость с воском, и осторожным, но быстрым движением нанесите состав тонким слоем на всю длину (или ширину) деревянной поверхности. Сделать это нужно за один раз, так, чтобы на поверхности не оказалось излишков воска и не появились наплывы. Обработайте таким образом всю рабочую плоскость. Кисть необходимо периодически протирать, чтобы на ней не появлялись сгустки, препятствующие нанесению состава. После этого двери дается время на высыхание, после чего берется хлопчатобумажная тряпка и производится финальная шлифовка поверхности.
